Due to technological needs and advances of recent times, Civil Work has experienced some very significant changes, which are customised to society's requirements at all times.

Our company has kept with the times and since more than twenty years ago, we have developed this product that, thanks to joint effort and a spirit of overcoming challenges, we can say that we are geared towards both executed works and relationships with large construction firms, and are considered one of the most important companies in the industry.

We are referring to a solution that is basically applicable to buried structures, their curved geometry composed of one or several radii. It is suitable to support significant earth loads. They tend to be mixed structures for which the foundation is executed on-site and the upper arched part is prefabricated. A very important part of executing this type of structure is earthfill, which must be done by making symmetrical layers on each side.

Each structure is different and it is necessary to carry out a detailed preliminary study taking into account the terrain and path features.

One of its major advantages is the possibility of incorporating sloped ending solutions (Peak Arch or Flute Peak) making landscape integration easier.

Over the years, we have found that the dome arch has evolved very quickly and today is considered one of the most efficient technical solutions for the following applications:

  • False tunnels
  • Lengthwise and crosswise drainage
  • Underpasses for pedestrian, vehicle, or animal traffic
  • Service galleys
  • Covered overpasses (removal of barrier effect for wildlife)
  • Sewage and collector networks
  • Tunnel mouths
  • Water route intubation
